We were more excited by the following Tweet than we have been for anything in a long time.
1' Play is stopped. Pigs on pitch. #cafc #CAFCLive
— Charlton Athletic FC (@CAFCofficial) October 15, 2016
Sadly, the pigs in question were not real, alive pigs, but rather plastic pigs the supporters of Charlton Athletic and opposing Coventry City fans had gathered together to throw on the field to protest their respective owners who apparently are bad.
The pig metaphor should be obvious, but if it isn't you should either crawl out of the hole you live in or read George Orwell's Animal Farm, which the protesters probably weren't referencing directly, but is a good book and you should read it anyway.
