You know what they say, ridiculous backheel flicks usually come in threes. This past weekend, we were treated to three outlandish finishes of the tacquito sauce variety — one in Amsterdam, one in Nuevo León and one in Poland.
Let’s take a look at all three in descending order.
#3. Kasper Dolberg (Ajax vs. NAC Breda)
After last week's cruel defeat to Real Madrid in the Champions League, Ajax took out its frustrations on NAC in the Eredivisie on Sunday. The Amsterdam-based club dropped a 5-0 result on the visitors, and the finest goal came courtesy of 21-year-old Danish striker Kasper Dolberg.
The talented attacker has yet to match the heights he reached during the 2016-17 season, but this was his ninth goal in 16 league appearances this campaign. It looks like he might be back to his best.
#2. André-Pierre Gignac (Tigres vs. Necaxa)
The 33-year-old Frenchman has scored a lot of goals that perfectly demonstrate his dominance of Liga MX, and this is another one. Gignac now has five goals in seven Clausura appearances this season, and Tigres trail Monterrey by one point for top spot in the table.
This was the first of two for Gignac in Tigres’ 3-2 victory over Necaxa on Saturday, and this one was brutal. It's a fatality.
#1. Filth From A U-11 Tournament In Poland
But top spot goes to this backheel flick from a youth tournament in Poland. If Krzysztof Piątek is the next Robert Lewandowski, it looks like we’ve already located the next Piątek.
