With the new playoff format, Major League Soccer is ending early this year, with the MLS Cup Final taking place this Sunday. Typically that means soccer fans have to wake up early on the weekends to watch European soccer or watch Liga MX for a few weeks to get them through the MLS offseason.
Those aren't your only options, though. Starting Friday, Nov. 22, Major Arena League Soccer starts its fourth season, which will span through March with playoffs starting in April and ending in the first weeks of May.
MASL is the professional indoor soccer league of North America, hosting 18 teams from Canada, the United States and Mexico.
Because of the number of goals and impressive individual skill, it has become one of my favorite leagues to watch and a guilty pleasure of mine.
All games are available live and on-demand on YouTube, which makes keeping up with the league that much easier and that much more free.
You can learn more about the league on the MASL website.
