If you’re like me, a Nike-head who refuses to wear cleats that aren’t primarily black or white, you’re gonna love this. Today, Nike unveiled its range of cleats (Mercurial, Hypervenom, Tiempo, Magista) for the 2018 World Cup, called the “Just Do It” pack. They’ll be available to the public on May 14, and they’re exceptionally clean.
According to a statement from Nike, the main colors are white and silver (obviously) but each silo is complimented by a particular bit of pizzazz (you probably couldn’t identify these colors on the spectrum): for the Mercurial, it’s “Total Orange,” the Hypervenom is “Volt,” the Tiempo is “Blue Hero” and Magista goes “Light Crimson.”
The bottom line is they look great.

And you may ask yourself, what’s with the triangle aesthetic in the above photos? It’s not for nothing — Nike will offer a subtle but beautiful customization option for every player wearing the boots in Russia.
On the heel of each cleat, there’ll be a triangle-shaped flag, as well as the players number and name running down the right side of whatever you call a specific part of a triangle. I do know that this is an equilateral triangle, so don’t get too down on me.
Here’s what those customization options will look like on some of Nike’s most heralded footballers.
