Mexico fans have kept a close eye on Jesus "Tecatito" Corona for some time now, as he is one of the most exciting young players to break out of Mexico in recent years. Tecatito is now approaching the end of his inaugural season in Portugal with Porto, and so we here at The18 decided to take a look at how he has done so far.

Carlos Vela is not having a good season for his club. Going into 2016, the Real Sociedad striker had only two goals to his name and hadn't scored since October.
It may be a good omen for Vela's 2016 that he ended his goal drought in Sociedad's 5-1 loss to Sporting Gijon Friday.

He’s been one of Mexico’s shining lights in Europe ever since he finished top-scorer in Mexico’s U-17 World Cup win back in 2007. That light has dimmed every once and a while and most recently has been shining bright at Real Sociedad. The Cancun native has had 167 appearances for Sociedad and has scored 59 goals since his loan from Arsenal became permanent at the La Liga side.
Many El Tri fans consider Jesus "Tecatito" Corona to be one of Mexico's brightest young players. The winger, who plays for Porto in Portugal's Premeira Liga, gave Mexico fans good cause for their optimism Wednesday when he scored a pretty awesome goal in a cup game.

Despite having been at Porto only for a few months, Miguel Layun appears to have taken up a leadership role at the Portuguese club.
The Mexican defender/midfielder took to the media Tuesday after Porto were defeated 2-0 by Kiev Dinamo in the Champions League, calling for his teammates to move on from the defeat and have courage.
Jesus “Tecatito” Corona and Jurgen Damm have been on our radar for quite some time. They are 22 and 23 respectively, and are the future of the Mexican national team; it’s hard to not get excited about them, especially Corona. Against Honduras in a World Cup Qualifier, the young Mexican stars justified our excitement.
Andres Cantor is the best soccer announcer in the world this is not up for debate, although we do allow we have not seen/heard every single soccer announcer in the world. It's kind of like how we haven't seen every single soccer player in the world, but still recognize Lionel Messi as the best.
