Keeper Breaks World Record For Longest Goal Ever Scored With 105-Yard Belter

When Newport County goalkeeper Tom King took a goal kick in a League Two game at Cheltenham Town on Tuesday, little did he know he would be writing his name into the Guinness World Records book for the longest goal ever scored.

The Longest Goals Of All Time

The best goals are the goals that no one sees coming. The long goals that come out of nowhere and no one can predict. All 14 of these goals, the longest goals in football history, fall into this category.

Some of these goals were scored by the goalkeepers, some of these goals were scored by the field players, and all of these goals were scored from inside their own half. Incredible. The longest goal of them all – Tom King's world record goal – was scored from 105 yards out, the equivalent of kicking a ball the entire length of an American football field and then some.

An incredible goal was scored in the Saudi Pro League on Tuesday. The goal was so spectacular that it honestly deserves an award. The exact title this goal deserves will go unnamed as I hate to admit that I have mentioned it one too many times.

Striker Andrea Petagna teed up Insigne to fire home after just five minutes, and Petagna was again the provider when he teed up Diego Demme for the second.

Insigne produced a moment of magic on the 38th minute, winning the ball inside his own half and embarking on a winding dribble past several opposition defenders, before playing an inch-perfect pass behind the defense for Hirving Lozano to tap in.

Karim Benzema Hits Behind-The-Back Crossover Goal In Training

There was an awesome moment after Tottenham defeated eighth-tier Marine in the FA Cup when Marine midfielder Josh Hmami exchanged Twitter messages with Spurs defender Sergio Reguilón.

The 21-year-old Accrington Stanely product called it an “unbelievable experience” before saying, “You really don’t realize how good these players are until you play them yourself.”

Reguilón responded by saying that playing at the 3,185-seat Rossett Park in Crosby was just as memorable.

AS Roma And Inter Milan Exchange Haymakers In Serie A Barn Burner

Gianluca Mancini's late goal earned AS Roma a 2-2 draw at home to Inter Milan on Sunday which left the visitors three points behind leaders AC Milan in the Serie A title race.

Lorenzo Pellegrini’s deflected shot put the hosts in front at halftime, but Inter mustered a spirited response and Milan Škriniar headed in a deserved equalizer after the break. Achraf Hakimi put Inter ahead by curling an outstanding shot in off the bar, but Mancini's glancing header leveled the scores with four minutes remaining to clinch a sixth consecutive league draw between the two teams.
