Christian Pulisic

Pulisic and Reyna will miss next games after an illness spread through the USMNT camp

With club soccer returning this weekend American fans might be asking questions like: Why is Pulisic not playing? Where’s Gio Reyna?

Christian Pulisic will likely miss Chelsea’s Premier League game vs. Aston Villa on Saturday while Gio Reyna is set to sit out Borussia Dortmund’s massive Der Klassiker clash with Bayern Munich. Both American players are dealing with “severe colds.”

USMNT mobbing Matt Turner after revealing his baby will be a girl is all the wholesomeness you need

There were plenty of warranted critiques of the United States men’s national team after their less than impressive 1-0 victory vs. El Salvador on Monday. While certain areas of the game were lacking for the USMNT, they certainly had no shortage of comradery during the Matt Turner gender reveal celebration after the game.

Turner and his wife, Ashley Herron, are expecting their second child. They already have a son, Easton, who was born in June 2022.

USMNT player ratings vs. El Salvador: All aboard the Pepi train!

The USMNT got the job done Monday night by beating El Salvador 1-0 at Exploria Stadium to advance to this summer's CONCACAF Nations League Finals in Las Vegas.

The Americans needed only a draw to make it happen, and everyone at home probably would've agreed to that after a scoreless opening 45 that was painful to watch. USMNT wordsmith Anthony Hudson called it "a little bit too transitiony." The highlight was La Selecta fans starting an "olé!" chant after stringing together a couple passes, only for a guy to pass it straight to Daryl Dike.

Christian Pulisic scores one and sets up four of USMNT’s seven goals vs. Grenada

Christian Pulisic was unstoppable on Friday night during the USMNT’s 7-1 Concacaf Nations League victory vs. Grenada as he scored one and helped set up four others.

The U.S. expectedly dominated Grenada (ranked 173rd in the world) at Kirani James Athletic Stadium in the Caribbean island’s capital. While the victory was routine and nothing to brag about, it’s good to see U.S. players playing with confidence.

Here’s the strongest USMNT starting XI for upcoming Concacaf Nations League games

Interim United States men’s national team head coach Anthony Hudson excited fans with an interesting roster selection for the March international window. A mix of usual starters and fringe players has fans eager to see how the team will lineup.

The USMNT have two Concacaf Nations League games to play with a trip to Grenada on March 24 and a home game in Orlando, Florida, vs. El Salvador on March 27.

Here’s a reminder of the 24 U.S. players selected for the pair of games.

‘He’s not good enough to be in Chelsea’s first team’ Ray Hudson blasts Christian Pulisic

Top soccer commentator Ray Hudson went on a fiery rant about Chelsea and USMNT forward Christian Pulisic on Tuesday. Hudson spent about 100 seconds spilling all his ill-feelings about the American star on SiriusXMFC.

Let’s take a listen and break down some of his points.

Christian Pulisic sounds off on USMNT direction

Speaking with ESPN's Graham Hunter in an interview at his home in London, Christian Pulisic gave voice to what many are presumably thinking ahead of a pivotal 2023 calendar year (at least I know I am).

Gio Reyna headlines USMNT Nations League squad

Gio Reyna and Christian Pulisic were among 24 players named in the United States squad for a training camp in Orlando ahead of the CONCACAF Nations League final four, U.S. Soccer said on Wednesday.

The U.S. are bidding to retain the title and qualify for this year's Gold Cup.

It will be the full squad's first meet-up since last year's World Cup.

"We come out of the World Cup knowing we're capable of more, and we're excited to keep moving forward in this group," said interim manager Anthony Hudson, who replaced former coach Gregg Berhalter in January.

Christian Pulisic makes first appearance in 61 days — here’s everything he did in short cameo

Chelsea defeated Borussia Dortmund 2-0 in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 on Tuesday to win the tie 2-1 on aggregate and advance to the quarterfinals. American fans got to watch Gio Reyna and Christian Pulisic play in the match.

For Pulisic this was his first game for Chelsea in 61 days after suffering a knee injury vs. Manchester City at the start of the year. He would only get a short cameo for the Blues as he entered the game in the 83rd minute with his team leading 2-0.
