Cristiano Ronaldo throws a temper tantrum after fans keep chanting “Messi” at him

Cristiano Ronaldo was less than pleased after Al Nassr lost 1-0 to Al-Ittihad on Thursday. The result saw Al-Ittihad leapfrog Al Nassr to go top of the Saudi Pro League table and left Ronaldo in a sour mood.

The home crowd for Al-Ittihad found a way to get under Ronaldo’s skin as they repeatedly chanted “Messi” at him. The chant worked to great effect as the Portuguese star was kept off the score sheet and visibly annoyed.

At one point Ronaldo could be seen making hand gestures to the Al-Ittihad fans expressing his displeasure with their chants.

Cristiano Ronaldo continues tearing up Saudi Pro League with second hat trick in three games

Cristiano Ronaldo is doing what he does best: scoring goals. After playing five games in the Saudi Pro League CR7 is already in the top five goal scorers for the league.

Ronaldo scored goals six, seven and eight on Saturday with a first half hat trick during Al Nassr’s 3-0 victory vs. Damac.

Two league games ago Ronaldo scored all four goals in a 4-0 victory. This time around he only needed 44 minutes to score three.

Cristiano Ronaldo ran riot on Thursday as he hit a career landmark of 500 league goals and scored all four of Al Nassr's during their 4-0 victory vs. Al-Wehda.

Many soccer fans expected Ronaldo to become a goal-scoring machine in Saudi Arabia. His first three games didn’t back that expectation up with only one goal, a penalty kick, in his first 270 minutes with Al Nassr.

He made up for the slow start by scoring four goals in a single game for the first time since Portugal’s Euro qualifier vs. Lithuania on Sep. 10, 2019.

Ronaldo taunted with "Messi" chants after Al Nassr knocked out of Saudi Super Cup

Cristiano Ronaldo's Al Nassr were knocked of the Saudi Super Cup on Thursday after a 3-1 semifinal loss to Al Ittihad in Riyadh.

The 37-year-old Portugal international, five-times Ballon d'Or winner, had a couple of chances to score but was well shackled by the Al Ittihad defense for most of the match.

Anderson Talisca's goal for Al Nassr in the 67th minute was not enough to turn around the deficit from two first-half goals for Al Ittihad from Romarinho and Abderrazak Hamdallah. Muhannad Al-Shanqeeti added the third three minutes into stoppage time.

Cristiano Ronaldo fails to score on hugely anticipated debut

RIYADH - Anderson Talisca earned Al Nassr a 1-0 home win over Al Ettifaq on Sunday, but the fans that turned up to Mrsool Park in droves to see Cristiano Ronaldo in action were left disappointed after he was unable to mark his Saudi Pro league debut with a goal.

Ronaldo signed a 2-1/2 year deal with Al Nassr last month, reported to be worth over $216.28 million, but has had to wait to play because of a two-match ban by England's FA for knocking a phone out of a fan's hand in April.
