Arturo Vidal is still an absolute maniac

Arturo Vidal is the kind of player that always wants to be on the field. So, being a benchwarmer on a star-studded Flamengo team is starting to rot his veins. That was more than evident on Wednesday night when, after learning he would not be subbing in, Vidal threw a tantrum that has now him at a crossroads with Flamengo's fans and the media.

Ronaldo taunted with "Messi" chants after Al Nassr knocked out of Saudi Super Cup

Cristiano Ronaldo's Al Nassr were knocked of the Saudi Super Cup on Thursday after a 3-1 semifinal loss to Al Ittihad in Riyadh.

The 37-year-old Portugal international, five-times Ballon d'Or winner, had a couple of chances to score but was well shackled by the Al Ittihad defense for most of the match.

Anderson Talisca's goal for Al Nassr in the 67th minute was not enough to turn around the deficit from two first-half goals for Al Ittihad from Romarinho and Abderrazak Hamdallah. Muhannad Al-Shanqeeti added the third three minutes into stoppage time.

All signs point to a new USMNT manager, but it's going to be a very long process

The future of the USMNT took another dramatic twist Thursday morning with a press release from U.S. Soccer confirming that sporting director Earnie Stewart — currently overseeing the search for the team's next full-time coach — is leaving his role next month to return to the Netherlands with PSV Eindhoven.

With this closely following the ongoing review of Gregg Berhalter and the departure of Brian McBride as general manager, there are two ways of viewing the current state of the men's program: either it's in shambles or it's a clean slate moving forward.

Goalkeepers hate him! Find out how Zimmerman ruined a perfectly good wall with one dumb trick

The United States men’s national team kicked off the 2026 World Cup cycle with a 2-1 defeat vs. Serbia in Los Angeles, Calif. on Wednesday. The squads that played the match were far from either’s team “A-list” players with seven USMNT starters making their debuts.

With plenty of fresh blood out on the field it was a surprise to see captain and World Cup starter Walker Zimmerman be the one to make a huge mistake.

Juventus drew 3-3 with Atalanta on Sunday night in their home city of Turin in their first game since the punishment was announced late on Friday.

A match with big implications at both ends of the Women's Super League table between Chelsea and Liverpool was abandoned Sunday after parts of the Kingsmeadow pitch were quickly determined to be icy beyond playability.

With freezing weather gripping England, the contest only lasted five minutes before safety concerns ended the afternoon for players and spectators. A viral video showcasing those five minutes is all you need to see.

Cristiano Ronaldo fails to score on hugely anticipated debut

RIYADH - Anderson Talisca earned Al Nassr a 1-0 home win over Al Ettifaq on Sunday, but the fans that turned up to Mrsool Park in droves to see Cristiano Ronaldo in action were left disappointed after he was unable to mark his Saudi Pro league debut with a goal.

Ronaldo signed a 2-1/2 year deal with Al Nassr last month, reported to be worth over $216.28 million, but has had to wait to play because of a two-match ban by England's FA for knocking a phone out of a fan's hand in April.
