El Calendario Con Las Fechas Más Importantes Del Fútbol Mexicano En La Temporada 2022-23

Con el inicio del Torneo Apertura 2022 de la Liga MX en el horizonte decidimos crear un calendario completo del fútbol mexicano para la próxima temporada. No solo a nivel de clubes, sino que también considerando los desafíos que tendrán las selecciones varoniles y femeniles del Tri.

La idea es que planifiques tu año tratando de evitar choque de fechas con otros eventos importantes de tu vida. 

Obviamente, iremos actualizando fechas según aparezcan nuevos desafíos. 

FIFA Approves Increase In Size Of World Cup Rosters

Teams will be able to select up to 26 players for this year's World Cup after global soccer's governing body FIFA increased the maximum squad limit by three on Thursday.

FIFA said the change was due to the unusual timing of the tournament as well as the impact of Covid-19 on squads. The showpiece event in Qatar will run from Nov. 21-Dec. 18.

The Evolution Of Official FIFA World Cup Posters Through The Years

Dating back to the inaugural FIFA World Cup held in Uruguay in 1930, each rendition of the tournament has been accompanied by an official poster from FIFA. Artists who’ve worked on these gorgeous designs include Guillermo Laborde (1930), Joan Miro (1982) and Annie Leibovitz (1986), to name just a few. Today, FIFA unveiled the official poster for the 2022 event in Qatar.

It's created by Qatari artist Bouthayna Al Muftah and depicts traditional headwear being thrown in the air — a symbol of celebration and fandom across Qatar and the Arab world.

FIFA Considering Body Cameras To Protect Referees

DOHA — FIFA is confident semi-automated technology to assist with quicker Video Assistant Referee decisions could be ready for the World Cup in Qatar later this year, world football's governing body president Gianni Infantino said on Monday. Additionally, body cameras are in consideration to prevent referees from being attacked.

Trials on the AI technology will continue in the coming months, but Infantino said there was significant progress.

Ecuador fans can breathe again after the national team's spot in the 2022 World Cup has been confirmed. 

On Friday, FIFA Disciplinary Committee rejected a formal complaint from the Chilean soccer federation accusing Ecuador of fielding an ineligible player during the CONMEBOL qualifiers.
