Gio Reyna Doesn’t Always Score, But When He Does They’re Thunderbastards Like This

Either way, the Gio Reyna goal vs Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday was a piledriver of a strike to earn Borussia Dortmund a 1-1 draw.

BVB fell behind early Saturday to a Daichi Kamada goal in the ninth minute. With Erling Haaland still out and midfielder Julian Brandt enlisted as striker, Dortmund couldn’t find an equalizer until the 56th minute.

Oh no Lukáš Hrádecký, this may have been the worst own goal ever.

Fans of America’s former pastime, baseball, like to talk about how something new happens every game. To an extent, this is true because of the idiosyncrasies the sport keeps track of, but in reality it’s still just a pitcher throwing a ball 60 feet, 6 inches toward a batter a couple hundred times a game.
