AC Milan’s unbeaten streak since the restart reached 11 games on Wednesday (eight wins, three draws) following a 4-1 victory over Sampdoria. Lautaro Martinez’s Sweet Solo Goal Pushes Inter Past Napoli

Inter Milan forward Lautaro Martinez came off the bench to score an impressive solo goal and complete a 2-0 win over Napoli which kept his side second in Serie A on Tuesday.

Inter, who gained some revenge for their Coppa Italia semi-final defeat by Gennaro Gattuso's side, took the field wearing their kit for next season which features zig-zagged black and blue stripes instead of the traditional straight ones.

The hosts went ahead after 11 minutes when Danilo D'Ambrosio turned the ball home from Cristiano Biraghi's cut back.

Son Heung-Min Earns BBC Goal Of The Season For Blistering Run Vs. Burnley

December of 2019 feels like a lifetime ago. Kudos to anyone who can remember more than ten things that happened seven months ago. One of the few moments that comes to mind is Son Heung-min’s incredible solo goal for Tottenham against Burnley.

When the moment happened, The18 was already calling it the goal of the season. BBC Match of the Day confirmed our thoughts and announced that Son earned the award for Goal of the Season.

Houston Dash Win Challenge Cup By Shutting Down Julie Ertz And Chicago

The Houston Dash claimed the 2020 NWSL Challenge Cup by defeating the Chicago Red Stars 2-0 in Sunday’s final at Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, Utah.

Kristie Mewis earned a penalty for Houston in the fourth-minute and veteran Canadian midfielder Sophie Schmidt sent Alyssa Naeher the wrong way for the game’s opening goal before Shea Groom added the second in second half stoppage time.

Aston Villa Survives With Nerve-Racking Draw At West Ham

Aston Villa preserved its Premier League status with a nerve-racking 1-1 draw at West Ham United on Sunday — a result that meant they finished one point above the relegation zone.

Captain Jack Grealish thought he had won it for Villa when he fired past Lukasz Fabianski in the 84th minute but West Ham hit back almost immediately through Andriy Yarmolenko.

Cristiano Ronaldo Reaches 30-Goal Milestone, Triggering All Sorts Of Records

Cristiano Ronaldo reached the landmark of 30 goals this Serie A season during Juventus’ 2-1 victory over Lazio on Monday. Only two players had ever reached the 30-goal milestone in Italy’s top division since 1960 — Luca Toni and Gonzalo Higuaín — but, remarkably, Monday’s match saw both Ronaldo and Lazio's Ciro Immobile hit that mark.

Ronaldo scored goal number 29 from the spot (his 12th successful penalty of the campaign) before adding number 30 after Paulo Dybala set him up for a tap-in.

Napoli’s Matteo Politano Scores Game-Winning Wonder Goal In Stoppage Time

Napoli forward Matteo Politano scored deep into stoppage time to give them a 2-1 win at home to Udinese on Sunday, minutes after defender Kalidou Koulibaly had rescued the hosts with a dramatic goal-line clearance.

Udinese forward Rodrigo De Paul looked set to score in the 85th minute when the ball ran loose to him with only goalkeeper David Ospina to beat. He dinked it over the Colombian but Koulibaly managed to get his knee to it and deflect it onto the crossbar.

Instead, Politano curled in the winner for Napoli, his first goal for the club, in the 95th minute.

Former Man United Keeper Anders Lindegaard Scores 90th-Minute Equalizer

Former Manchester United goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard — who made 29 appearances for the club between 2011 and 2014 — is back on our radar after scoring the first goal of his career while playing for Sweden’s Helsingborg.

In a match between Allsvenskan strugglers, Helsingborg escaped with a draw against Falkenberg after Lindegaard came forward for a corner kick in the 90th minute and planted a towering header inside the far post.

Harry Kane Hits Two Quality Strikes To Fire Spurs Over Leicester City

Tottenham striker Harry Kane looked back to his best with two quality goals as his side dealt a huge blow to Leicester City's top-four hopes with a 3-0 victory in the Premier League on Sunday.

Kane struggled for sharpness when the season resumed last month, a legacy of the serious hamstring injury that sidelined him from Jan. 1, but the striker produced a dazzling display as Spurs boosted their Europa League qualifying hopes.

Bournemouth’s Five-Year EPL Stay All But Over After Heartbreaking Southampton Defeat

AFC Bournemouth’s five-year stay in England’s top flight (the club’s first stint in its 121-year history) is almost certainly at an end following Sunday’s 2-0 loss to South Coast rivals Southampton. The match-winner was scored by Danny Ings, taking his total to 21 on the season and just two behind Jamie Vardy in the Premier League Golden Boot race.

In a must-win — or at least draw — match for Eddie Howe’s side, it was 12th-place Southampton that dominated proceedings and earned its ultimate reward in the 41st minute thanks to Ings' precise finish from 18 yards out.
