Bayern Manager Nagelsmann Says He And His Mother Received Over 450 Death Threats After UCL Loss

Bayern Munich manager Julian Nagelsmann opened up at a press conference on Friday about the hatred and threats he received after his side fell to underdog Villarreal in the Champions League on Tuesday.

The Nagelsmann death threats on social media are abhorrent and the evil “fans” leaving these comments went as far as threatening his mother. 

Nagelsmann said the threats certainly don’t make his job and life easy.

The shirt worn by Diego Maradona when he scored his infamous "Hand of God" goal against England at the 1986 World Cup is expected to sell for at least 4 million pounds ($5.23 million), auctioneer Sotherby's said on Wednesday.

The shirt is owned by former England midfielder Steve Hodge, who swapped shirts with Maradona after Argentina won the match 2-1 thanks to two goals by the forward, the second a solo effort considered to be one of the greatest ever scored.
