Seguro Lo Extrañan Un Montón: ¿Por Qué Kylian Mbappé No Está En Los Juegos Olímpicos?

A Estados Unidos Le Anularon Cuatro Goles, Pero Igual Le Ganó A Nueva Zelandia Por 6-1

Sleep Be Damned, You Don’t Want To Miss Another Group F Olympic Soccer Match

Speaking from firsthand experience, I know how hard it can be on your body to wake up in the middle of the night to watch Olympic soccer played in Japan. I thought it was fun in 2002 for the World Cup, but my body rebelled hard after the first day of play on Wednesday.

And yet, I can’t wait to wake up early for the next Group F match, because those games have been stupidly entertaining at the 2020 Olympics.

USWNT Gives First Lady Jill Biden Crash Course In Offside Rule During Bounce-Back Win

The USWNT bounced back, as basically everyone expected it to do, taking care of New Zealand 6-1 on Saturday in Saitama, Japan. After they were crushed by Sweden in the Olympic opener, the Americans needed a response, and this was a pretty good one. It was a fairly straightforward victory, though not necessarily the sort of performance that will scare the other medal favorites in Japan.

One thing Team USA did accomplish was providing one of the few audience members a profound understanding of the intricacies of the offside rule.

USWNT Files Appeal In Gender Discrimination Lawsuit

The USWNT on Friday filed an opening brief in the appeal of its lawsuit against the U.S. Soccer Federation, saying the decision to dismiss it was based on flawed legal reasoning.

The brief, filed with the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, asks that the ruling be reversed and the case sent back to district court to be heard by a jury.

Why Olympic Men’s Soccer Has An Age Limit

The reason you won’t see some of the best men's soccer players at the Olympics is sort of peculiar. In order to preserve the status of the World Cup as the greatest international event for men’s soccer, an Olympic soccer age limit was instituted for the men's tournament.

The men's Olympic soccer tournament only features players under 23 years old, with three exceptions for each country.

Canadian Footballer Quinn’s Impassioned Response To Becoming First Openly Trans Olympian

OL Reign and Canada midfielder Quinn made history on Wednesday, becoming the first openly transgender athlete to compete in the Olympics. Their comments afterword highlighted both the pride of being the first and the disappointment of the realities trans women face in sports around the world.

USWNT Couldn’t Be At Olympic Opening Ceremony, So They Cosplayed Their Own

It’s the moment athletes wait their entire lives for: To walk into a stadium of roaring fans alongside compatriots during the Olympic Games opening ceremonies. Things were a bit different this year as Olympic Stadium in Tokyo was mostly empty, fans unable to attend because of the Covid-19 pandemic still raging around the world.

But that didn’t stop the USWNT from having fun, even from a hotel room about 20 miles away.

Mexican National Team Players Prove Olympic ‘Anti-Sex’ Beds Can Handle A Lusty Olympic Boink

The idea of sex in the Olympic village was taboo for a while but is now a well-known occurrence. When news spread that this year's Olympic beds were partly made of cardboard, rumors spread that this was imposed to discourage athletes from doing the dirty. Several athletes and players from Mexico’s Olympic soccer squad have debunked the Olympic anti-sex bed rumors. The Mexico national team Olympic bed video has since gone viral.

Dang It Honduras, It Should’ve Been The USMNT Losing To A Team That Didn’t Register A Shot On Target

Honduras snatched Concacaf’s final spot at the Olympics away from the USMNT in March. Four months later, Los Catrachos did the USMNT proud by dominating a game against Romania and still finding an incredible way to lose 1-0. I’m sure that USMNT players are punching the air while watching the Honduras vs Romania highlights.

Let me remind you why the USMNT isn’t at the Olympics.
