Meet The Greatest Athlete At The Olympics: 35-Year-Old Zambia Striker Racheal Nachula

At the age of 22, Racheal Nachula was representing Zambia at the 2008 Summer Olympics in the women’s 400 meters after winning bronze at the African Championships. She did her country proud in Beijing, qualifying for the semifinal round after running a hugely impressive 50.62.

Three Olympics and 13 years later, now age 35, Nachula is back, but in an entirely different discipline — soccer.

USWNT Opens Olympic Play With One Thing In Mind: Revenge

The U.S. women's soccer team is looking for payback when it kicks off its Olympic campaign with what promises to be a tough challenge against Sweden on Wednesday, with memories still fresh of their quarterfinal defeat in the Rio Games five years ago.

U.S. Soccer’s Bizarre Twitter Rant Makes Me Want To Watch ‘LFG’ Even More

Released on June 24 on HBO Max, “LFG” is a documentary following members of the U.S. women’s national team in their fight for equal pay from the U.S. Soccer Federation. Based on the tweets from U.S. Soccer this week, I need to get an HBO Max subscription ASAP to see what has the USSF in such a tizzy.

LFG is the USWNT’s adopted slogan, an acronym for “Let’s Fucking Go!” The film, which debuted at the Tribeca Film Festival in June, appears to be “Let’s fucking go after USSF,” if a recent Twitter thread is anything to go by.

Watch Jess Fishlock Perfectly Lob The Keeper From 40 Yards

Jessica McDonald led North Carolina to a 2-1 win over OL Reign, but Jessica Fishlock provided the moment of the week with a magical goal for a late consolation on Saturday. The Jess Fishlock lob was in my opinion the best goal of the day, even with Euro 2020 going on.

5 USWNT Players Who Need To Impress In June If They Want To Go To The Olympics

Soccer coaches are faced with countless unenviable problems every day: How to go about training, how to set the team up for matches, how to meld personalities into a single unit. But one problem every coach would love to have is what Vlatko Andonovski is facing ahead of this summer’s Olympics: How to cut some of the best players in the world.

Liga MX Femenil: Chivas Se Perdió Un Penal En El Minuto 91 Y Tigres Lo Ganó A Los 95

15-Year-Old Olivia Moultrie Could Sign For An NWSL Team After Latest Court Order Victory

Olivia Moultrie is a 15-year-old soccer phenom who has been training with the Portland Thorns since 2019 after Nike signed her to a nine-year endorsement deal. Moultrie has been denied from signing with a team due to the National Women’s Soccer League’s age rules, but that could soon change.

Barcelona's Jenni Hermoso Nutmegs 3 Different Players In 4 Seconds

FC Barcelona Femení continued its monstrous season with a casual 8-0 victory against Athletic Club on Wednesday. This was the sixth time this season that Barcelona scored seven or more goals in a single game.

This Barcelona team is putting up statistics unheard of in the soccer sphere. After 27 league games, the Catalan side has won all 27, scored 136 goals and conceded five. Those are like video game numbers put up by an expert gamer who put the difficulty setting on amateur.

Women’s International Champions Cup Returns With 3 Of The World’s Best — And Houston?

The Covid-19 pandemic had many sporting casualties in 2020. While nothing compares to the immense (and ongoing) loss of life, U.S. soccer fans were denied the opportunity to pay NFL-level prices to watch preseason friendlies between indifferent European clubs in the International Champions Cup. Similarly, the less-promoted but far-more-interesting Women’s International Champions Cup was canceled in 2020.

Con Un Bello Gol De Globito, Tigres Femenil Va Por El Bi. Chivas Espera En La Final
