Go Home Everyone Else, Copa Libertadores Quarterfinal Has Produced The Goal Of The Year

Matías Zaracho and Atletico Mineiro booted River Plate out of the Copa Libertadores in style Wednesday night. This Zaracho goal vs. River Plate was the opening strike of the game and is one of the best seen in 2021 so far.

A silky move from Hulk, the Chinese Super League legend, gave him space to cross it in toward Zaracho, who pulled off one of the most amazing goals ever seen.

Wild Scenes In Turkey As Two Galatasaray Teammates Start Swinging In The Middle Of The Match

Turkey’s Super Lig is one of the hidden gems of European soccer. This is probably the fourth or fifth time I’ve found myself writing about some crazy shit that went down in Turkey. This time around a Galatasaray fight between two teammates during Monday's Super Lig match has caught the world’s attention.

Reyna Scores In Dortmund’s Opener As Erling Haaland Obliterates Frankfurt

Borussia Dortmund is thanking its lucky stars that Erling Haaland didn’t leave the club this summer as the Norwegian God did unspeakable things to Frankfurt during a 5-2 victory on Saturday.

Haaland was involved in all five of Dortmund’s goals bagging a brace and having a hat trick of assists.

The 21-year-old set up Marco Reus for the first goal after dribbling the ball down nearly half of and slipping it through to the Dortmund veteran.

Five Of The Boldest Premier League Predictions You'll Hear This Year

The Premier League is almost upon us as we get ready for another great season full of soccer. After all of the transfers and signings throughout the league the landscape of the Premier League might look a bit different. Here are my five bold predictions for the upcoming 2021/22 Premier League season.

Can You Guess Who These Famous Soccer Stats Belong To?

Soccer is a never-ending sport. While club seasons around the globe typically dominate the fall-to-spring time, summer is for major international tournaments. This summer we’ve witnessed four such major tournaments around the world, all of which have thrilled in their own ways.

What I’ve Learned From All The Hate Mail Supposed Carli Lloyd Fans Sent Me

I’m pretty used to getting hate mail these days. When you discuss human rights in relation to soccer, people get pretty upset and are not afraid to send anonymous emails spewing hatred toward me, which ironically proves my point more often than not.

I’ve never gotten as much hate mail as I have this week when I reported on Carli Lloyd refusing to join her teammates in kneeling to protest the ongoing racial inequalities in the U.S. and around the world.

I Will Buy FIFA 22 Just For This One Just-Announced Gimmick

Earlier this year, I swore off FIFA Ultimate Team. I became sick with the meta of FUT and the feeling of being cheated by the game. But just when I thought I was out, they’re pulling me right back in.

On Friday, Clint Dempsey dropped this little video, announcing he’ll be a part of the FUT Heroes lineup available in FIFA 22 at launch. I will 100 percent buy a game just to play as a fisherman who moonlights as the greatest male soccer player Texas has ever produced.

Concacaf Deserves Some Credit For Being The Best Confederation At The Olympics

Concacaf, the ragtag group of 41 soccer-playing nations and territories in North America, Central America and the Caribbean, can now definitively claim it is the best confederation in FIFA. With three medals from the 2020 Olympics, Concacaf is taking home more hardware than any other region.

Some Absolute Moron At Juventus Just Lost Their Job Over Shockingly Racist Tweet

The person in charge of the Juventus women’s Twitter account needs to be fired ASAP after posting a racist tweet. The racist Juventus tweet in question is about as blatant as they come. The post was up for 26 minutes (26 minutes too long) and featured Italian player Cecilia Salvai mocking Asian people. Here is the racist Juventus tweet.

About as racist as possible.
