Tottenham’s $35 million signing of Lucas Moura from Paris Saint-Germain is a fantastic piece of business for both the London club and fans of the Premier League on the whole. For Tottenham, the club has some brilliant forward-thinking fullbacks, but no true quality wingers like Lucas.
Hell, the transfer reveal video was already a smashing success for Spurs.
Paris Saint-Germain had an extremely eventful time advancing to the final of the Coupe de la Ligue today, jumping out to a 3-0 lead before the hour mark with goals from Thomas Meunier, Marquinhos and Giovani Lo Celso. Meunier’s goal (see above) was an absolute banger.
However, Kylian Mbappe was given a straight red in the 63rd minute for a malicious scythe down the back of a Rennes player’s leg. The man advantage for the Red and Blacks led to goals in the 85th and 92nd minutes, but PSG held on for a 3-2 victory.
Edinson Cavani hit a major milestone Saturday against Montpellier in Ligue 1 when he scored his 157th goal for PSG, passing Zlatan Ibrahimovic as the club's all-time leading scorer. It wasn't exactly a screaming goal, but we're sure El Matador will take it.
Judging by the celebration, Cavani seems pretty excited about his accomplishment.

Many people do not care for Paris Saint-Germain. Yes, Neymar, Edinson Cavani and Kylian Mbappe are three of the most enjoyable footballers to watch on the planet, but together, the whole sum of PSG can aggravate with how much it insists upon itself.
On Wednesday, Neymar put on the greatest individual display in the history of Ligue 1. The Brazilian scored four goals, including a sublime free kick and ridiculous solo effort, while adding two assists in PSG’s 8-0 win over Dijon. Anyway, his fourth goal was roundly jeered by supporters inside the Parc des Princes and that’s all anybody’s really talking about now. It’s sensational, it’s surreal and it’s sadly understandable.
What can you even say about PSG? Actually, Dijon's goalkeeper's face sums it up pretty well.
