USMNT Uses Fastest Goal In Program History To Beat Canada, Win Group B

Gianluca Busio stood in the center circle at Children's Mercy Park on Sunday afternoon, awaiting the whistle to kick-off the USMNT’s Gold Cup group finale against Canada.

When it sounded, the 19-year-old moved the ball to James Sands on the backline. The defender launched it forward at Sam Vines, who initiated a bit of head tennis that allowed the U.S. to suddenly overwhelm the left-hand side numerically.

Minnesota United Puts An End To Seattle’s Historic Unbeaten Start

Any MLS club in Seattle’s shoes gets blown away on Sunday against Minnesota United at Allianz Field.

It’s an away day in mid-July with the temperature at 90 degrees. Minnesota is strong at home and hungry for a first-ever win over the Sounders at the ninth time of asking. Seattle, on the other hand, has nine players listed as “out” and has to call up two players from the Tacoma Defiance reserve team, including 15-year-old Alaskan Obed Vargas.

This is a recipe for disaster in America’s top division.

Nashville’s Hany Mukhtar Scores Fastest Hat Trick In MLS History

Hany Mukhtar recorded the fastest hat trick in MLS history and Nashville SC extended their home unbeaten streak to 11 games with a 5-1 victory over the visiting Chicago Fire on Saturday night.

Mukhtar tallied all three goals in the first 16 minutes.

Mukhtar, who entered with a team-leading four goals, took advantage of breakdowns on Chicago's back end to open the scoring in the 10th minute, and he came through again three minutes later.

From Showering In Champagne To Showering In Tears, Here Are The Best Euro Final Reactions

Following the Euro 2020 final where Italy narrowly defeated England on penalties, both sides displayed the true highs and lows of soccer.

Italians were put on top of the world as they secured just their second-ever European Championship and first since 1968. From their fans pouring onto the streets and erupting in joy to Italy’s team stripping down to tighty whities, Italians made sure to properly celebrate the moment.

But the spectrum of reactions following the Euro 2020 final from both squads and their fans couldn't have been further apart.

England Scores Fastest Goal In European Championship Final History

The consensus among many was that Gareth Southgate had been too cautious with his starting lineup against Italy on Sunday in the Euro 2020 final. The England manager made one change from the semifinal, bringing in Kieran Trippier and adopting a back-five while winger Bukayo Saka dropped to the bench.

Steve McManaman called it a mistake on ESPN during the pregame show. It took all of one minute and 57 seconds to see that McManaman had been mistaken.

Seattle Makes MLS History With Longest Unbeaten Streak To Start The Season

Kelyn Rowe scored his first goal of the season to break a scoreless tie and the streaking Seattle Sounders made history with a 2-0 victory over the visiting Houston Dynamo on Wednesday night.

The Sounders (8-0-5, 29 points) established a new MLS record of 13 straight unbeaten results to begin a season. The Los Angeles Galaxy (1996, 2010), Kansas City Wizards (2000) and Real Salt Lake (2014) all opened with streaks of 12 undefeated matches.

Messi Le Pisa Los Pies A Pelé Con Otro Hermoso Tiro Libre

Un Show De Messi Cerró La Fase De Grupos De La Copa América: Estos Son Los Cruces De Cuartos

BUENOS AIRES — With his inauspicious Argentina debut nothing but a distant memory, Lionel Messi became his country's most capped player on Monday in their 4-1 Copa America victory over Bolivia.

Barcelona Just Completed A Season That Makes Arsenal’s Invincibles Look Like Child’s Play

Barcelona Femení just completed one of the most dominating football campaigns we have ever seen. Barcelona beat Eibar 9-1 to cap a near-perfect season that dwarfs Arsenal’s Invincibles or any men’s treble winner. You could argue it was the best season ever in soccer.
