The Qatar 2022 World Cup Logo Is As Boring As It Is Depressing

FIFA's unveiling of the 2022 World Cup logo was . . . underwhelming. The unveiling took place in Qatar's capital Doha on Tuesday at around 8:00 p.m. local time, with thousands of spectators watching as the logo was projected on billboards and buildings throughout the city.

N’Golo Kanté Makes Surprise Appearance At A Fan’s Wedding

After an injury in Chelsea’s recent draw had sidelined midfielder N'Golo Kanté, the star decided to make an appearance at a fan’s family wedding.

According to the Sun, superfan Frank Khalid met Kanté at one of Khalid’s restaurants. He initially invited the French star to his daughter's wedding but Kanté had to turn the offer down due to a French national-team game.

The USWNT Killed It At The 2019 MTV VMAs

The post-World Cup USWNT lovefest continued at the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards on Monday. Women’s World Cup winners Alex Morgan, Ashlyn Harris and Ali Krieger were invited to present one of the VMAs and weren’t a bit out of place among music’s biggest celebrities.

And you know they brought style and class to the whole operation.

Wolves Fans Give Patrick Cutrone World's Strangest Chant

Twenty-one-year-old Patrick Cutrone joined Wolverhampton this past summer from AC Milan. The Italian striker has appeared in five competitive matches for the EPL side for a total of 113 minutes, but Wolves fans already have a Patrick Cutrone chant picked out for him.

Seattle Sounders Fans Prank Portland Timbers After Rivalry Win

As part of MLS Rivalry Week, the Portland Timbers hosted the Seattle Sounders in not only an important match in terms of the playoff race, but the winner also took home the regional Cascadia Cup.

The Sounders put together one of their best performances of the season, winning 2-1. While the Timbers had bright moments, Seattle was dominant throughout the match. Jordan Morris, in particular, seemed unstoppable on the right wing, using Portland left back Zarek Valentin more as a training cone than an opposing player.

Man Utd (Momentarily) Twitter Trolls Chelsea, Blows Up In Their Face

Manchester United suffered its first loss of the season on Saturday to Crystal Palace, which notched its first win of the new season.

The defeat at home would not have been as embarrassing if the @ManUtd Twitter account did not play with fire ahead of the match.

Before the game, the club tweeted out this shot at Chelsea.

Phil Neville’s Solution For Racism In England Is Laughable

Paul Pogba was targeted on Twitter by racist assholes after he missed a penalty kick for Manchester United on Monday, the third player to receive similar abuse in the past week in England. On Wednesday, it was Chelsea’s Tammy Abraham; on Sunday it was Reading’s Yakou Méïté.

It’s disgusting and heartbreaking — it needs to stop.

But Phil Neville’s plan isn’t going to solve anything.

Eden Hazard Responds To Weight Criticism With His “Six Pack”

Real Madrid star Eden Hazard has responded to fan allegations of some minor weight gain this offseason with a video. The Belgian winger was getting a haircut with no shirt on (like a sociopath) and decided to film a quick short about his abs.

Hazard was sitting, so obviously we did not get the most flattering ab angle we could have received.
