Good news guys, the USMNT is capable of beating Grenada. It’s hard to take too much away from the U.S. defeating Grenada 5-0 in the Concacaf Nations League on Friday, but we have a couple players to highlight for the USMNT. 

Head coach Gregg Berhalter put out the B-team for the USMNT, reasonably so, and fans got to see some fringe players try to prove their worth. Christian Pulisic and Tyler Adams didn’t even dress for the team Friday night to give you an idea of how important this game was.

On Monday, Concacaf revealed the provisional rosters for the W Championship, so while the final 23 will have to be selected from this list, the provisional roster for the USWNT includes an all-encompassing 59 names.

BELLINZONA, Switzerland - The trial of former FIFA president Sepp Blatter and French footballing legend Michel Platini over alleged corrupt payments ground to a halt on Wednesday when Blatter said he was too ill to testify.

Swiss prosecutors accuse the pair, once among football's most powerful figures, of unlawfully arranging a payment of $2.08 million in 2011. Blatter and Platini both deny the charges. But Blatter, looking frail during the hearing at the Federal Criminal Court in Bellinzona, said he was unable to address the court due to chest pains.
