Twitter Blasted Their New Kits. Watch Their Players Read The Meanest Tweets

The Columbus Crew’s latest away kit has gone viral for all the wrong reasons. Intended to pay homage to the Columbus City Flag, the jersey has been likened to yellow snow (don't eat it!), a printer test page and a neon snow cone. Here’s the breakdown of the kit as detailed by the Crew and kit providers Adidas:

He Wore A Cowboy Hat And Scored 14 Goals. A Co-Ed League Banned Him For Having Fun

I haven’t played co-ed soccer since high school gym class. What I remember from it involves a lot of social and competitive awkwardness. I may or may not have been the kid that couldn’t figure out when it was “OK” to try hard in gym class and when you were an a**hole for doing so. I figured this out later in life, but clearly this Mr. Garruto got it from the get go. Which is incredibly ironic, because this Garruto guy got kicked out of a co-ed league.

This Penalty Was So Bad The Goal Literally Collapsed In Protest

In 1994 an event happened that shook the very foundation of soccer. During the World Cup in the United States, apparently some marketing hacks decided to have Diana Ross take an exhibition penalty for reasons that are still unclear.

Now, Diana Ross is very talented at many things, singing chief among them. Not chief among them, however, is kicking a soccer ball. Which is how we found ourselves in the position of having to write this article.

Alejandro Bedoya Is Killing It In France. Does He Deserve A USMNT Call Up?

Alejandro Bedoya deserves a call up for the USMNT when they take on Guatemala in World Cup Qualifying. Bedoya has become something of a hero of late for French Ligue 1 side Nantes. After not scoring for Nantes for nine months, the United States international has now scored four in six games. Some of those goals have been extremely important.

Alex Morgan Scores Fastest Goal in US Soccer History

Before many fans could even sign into their cable accounts and stream the USWNT Olympic Qualifer against Costa Rica, Alex Morgan had already put the USWNT up 1 - 0. It took 12 seconds, two passes, an immediate long ball, flick on header, two touches, and a shot to give the USWNT the start they craved for. The USWNT continued to dominate play and added two more goals soon after, however Alex Morgan's goal will be remembered for years to come. This goal was the fastest in US Soccer history. Morgan's goal was symbolic for the USWNT.

Daniel Bryan’s YES Chant Lives On In The World Of Soccer

If you keep up with the wacky world of professional wrestling like I do, you know that WWE superstar Daniel Bryan recently announced he has decided to hang up his boots after a long battle with multiple concussions over the past few years. The announcement was made by Bryan himself hours before WWE’s flagship show, Monday Night Raw, went on the air.

Video: Giovani Dos Santos Gets Punk’d By Steven Gerrard And Robbie Keane

The LA Galaxy have all the pieces in place for a great 2016 season. The offensive star power of Giovani dos Santos, Steven Gerrard and Robbie Keane has been complimented by the additions of Belgian defensive stalwart Jelle Van Damme, English great Ashley Cole and kung fu master Nigel de Jong.

I Have Something In Common With Donald Trump And I Don't Like That

I do not know why finding out that Donald Trump played high school soccer bothered me so much. But maybe I can figure it out.

The World's Biggest Sporting Event Will Not Take Place This Sunday

This Sunday all over our nation people will gather for what might as well be considered a national holiday.

It is just a perfect embodiment of what America is: food, beer, and Football! And maybe it’s a tad “Grinch That Stole Sundays” of me with all their noise, noise, noise, but I guess I think it’s unfortunate that the sport's biggest game has reduced itself to the spectacle that it has become and it's more about the party, food, commercials and halftime show for most of its viewers than the game itself.

Footballers And Their American Football Doppelgangers

Super Bowl 50 kicks off Sunday at 6:30 p.m. EST when the Denver Broncos take on the Carolina Panthers from Levi Stadium in Santa Clara, California. The sporting world will be tuned in to see whether Peyton Manning can become the oldest winning quarterback in Super Bowl history or Cam Newton can become the first Heisman Trophy winner to claim an NCAA championship and Super Bowl ring.
