4 USMNT Players Got Married Right Before Leaving For January Camp

Yes, professional soccer players have lives off the pitch and get married like every other human beings. But, with their mandatory practices and long trips on the road, how do they find the time to get married?

USMNT Captain Michael Bradley Hits Out At Trump’s Muslim Ban

While United States Soccer Federation President Sunil Gulati has declined to comment on U.S. Soccer’s stance towards Donald Trump’s executive order to ban the entry of citizens from seven different Muslim countries, USMNT captain Michael Bradley criticized Trump with a heartfelt message on Instagram.

Bruce Arena's USMNT Return Begins With Friendly Against Serbia On Sunday

USMNT head coach Bruce Arena named the 23-man roster for the team’s friendly against Serbia on Sunday. An initial player pool of 32 has been trimmed following January camp, which took place between January 10 and 27 at the National Training Center in Carson, California. It served as Bruce Arena's first look at his domestic-based players since returning to the USMNT helm.

These 32 Players Are Bruce Arena's First USMNT Squad

Bruce Arena's first USMNT squad probably won't tell us much. The Europe-based players are unavailable because it isn't an international break, and the USA-based players aren't in shape because the MLS doesn't start for a while. Also, the games won't be anywhere near competitive international matches.

That said, it is his first squad and therefore people will wildly speculate on what his team selection means. Maybe we'll learn something about the type of player Arena is looking for. More likely we won't.

Why Jurgen Klinsmann's Salary Made Firing Him Harder Than It Should Have Been

Jurgen Klinsmann is no longer the head coach of the United States Men's National Team. Most USMNT fans wanted Klinsmann out even before the debacle against Costa Rica, but most assumed Klinsmann's large buyout would keep him employed at least a little while longer.

Apparently the buyout wasn't big enough to keep Klinsmann around, but it was still a massive amount of money. No one seems to know the exact amount, but most, if not all, outlets feel safe in saying it was quite large.

U.S. Soccer Goes In Search Of Lost Time By Hiring Bruce Arena

Jurgen Klinsmann was handed the keys to the USMNT on the backend of an exhilarating 4-2 loss to Mexico in the 2011 CONCACAF Gold Cup Final. The defeat in front of over 93,000 at the Rose Bowl clearly didn’t sit well with U.S. Soccer president Sunil Gulati, who used the pretense of throwing away a two-goal lead to sack Bob Bradley and bring in the man he’d long coveted, Klinsmann.

Jurgen Klinsmann Is Out As USMNT Coach

U.S. Soccer President Sunil Gulati has confirmed that Jurgen Klinsmann is no longer head coach of the U.S. Men’s National Team. Klinsmann will also be relieved of his duties as technical director for U.S. Soccer with a teleconference call scheduled for Tuesday to discuss the changes.
