Well Porter may be having a little fun with it after their win against the powerful Bayern Munich. On Monday, he challenged Pep Guardiola to take the #IceBucketChallenge. He even adds a little more humor and stretches his hand out AGAIN!
The score graphic was not up yet. The photographers did not have their cameras up. No one was expecting Gustavo Ramirez to rip a shot from the kick-off. Yet, 4 seconds into the match, Ramirez took a shot from the midfield line and scored the fastest goal in Mexican soccer history. The opposing goalkeeper was likely the most surprised. There is also nothing better than hearing Mexican soccer comentators scream "GOOOOLLL!" for minutes long.
Flopping in soccer is a part of the game whether we like it or not. A big reason flopping in soccer happens so often is due to how valuable set pieces are and the potential for the referee to card the opponent. Set pieces provide teams with the opportunity to score, and carding an opponent forces them to play with more caution.
