Jozy Altidore opened his tally in Liga MX after scoring in the electric 3-3 draw against Tijuana on Friday.
The former Toronto player had made his debut against Toluca last week, but only stepped on the pitch for the last 10 minutes.

After a marvelous through ball and movement by the American, Altidore let the ball roll and held the Xolos defender all the way into the 18-yard-box for an easy finish against Jonathan Orozco.
A classic Jozy goal.
Will this be a good move for Altidore?
After a tough start in MLS with Toronto (one goal in 17 games), it seemed like a good opportunity to take a loan move to Liga MX to perhaps revive the goalscoring aspect of his career.

It’s not too often that we see Americans play in Mexico, but for Puebla specifically, the formula has indeed worked.
The former USMNT player DaMarcus Beasley played 99 games, scoring 13 goals and providing 12 assists in his three-year spell at Puebla (2011-2014).
So, if we see a motivated and in-form Altidore, combined with an exciting side coached by Nicolás Larcamón that has stunned the Liga MX in the last few tournaments, the American could help turn the Camoteros into an even bigger problem and extend the U.S. player legacy at Puebla.
So far and after one goal, he's already won the hearts of fans and is La Franja's Lukaku.
