PSV Eindhoven stayed within touching distance of Feyenoord and Ajax at the top of the Dutch Eredivisie table thanks to a last-gasp winner from Mexican center back Hector Moreno. Just days after celebrating his 29th birthday, Moreno scored with his knee in the 90th minute to give PSV a 4-3 victory over Heerenveen.

Moreno now has three goals in 19 matches for PSV this season, a phenomenal return for a center-half. Moreno was also on target for Mexico in their 3-1 victory over El Salvador in World Cup qualifying back in September. PSV trail Feyenoord by eight points in their attempt to defend their league title. Moreno and PSV return to action on January 28 against SC Heracles.
