Now in his second season at Manchester United Louis Van Gaal has wasted no time in doing what he has become legendary for: pissing everybody off.
Ex and current players alike are coming out of the woodwork. Even players who have never had Van Gaal as a manager hate Louis Van Gaal.
Zlatan doesn’t see eye to eye with Van Gaal, but then again the only person Zlatan really sees eye to eye with is Zlatan.
Angel Di Maria immediately singled out Louis Van Gaal as the main reason he left Manchester United. “Van Gaal has his philosophy and one of the things that made me want to leave is that," Di Maria said. "It is difficult to adapt to Van Gaal.”
Van Gaal is a no-nonsense type of boss and it literally is his way or the highway. He has no issue with cutting a player completely off from his teammates, literally letting them rot with the reserves. Just ask the two Spanish national team goalkeepers Victor Valdes. Valdes couldn’t adapt to van Gaal’s management style, and found himself out of favor after refusing to train with the reserve side.
Van Gaal seems to be making everybody hate him or at least really dislike him. His Captain, Wayne Rooney and Vice Captain, Michael Carrick, apparently have had to speak with him about their teammates complaining about his rigid training methods, which, according to The Independent, make the players feel like robots.
Will van Gaal’s fiery demeanor and no b.s. approach be worth it? Without trophies, of course not.
No matter how mad he gets.
