“Miedo A Nadie, Solo A Mi Mamá”: México Goleó A Su Cuco Olímpico Y Ahora Va Por Brasil

¡Mil-no-ve-cien-tos-cua-ren-ta-y-o-cho!

Georgian Starboy Kvaratskhelia Scores A Worldie

Rubin Kazan has one of the gems of the Russian Premier League on its hands in Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

The Tbilisi, Georgia, native moved to Kazan in 2019 after a loan spell with Lokomotiv Moscow. Two years on, those in decision-making positions at the capital club may be kicking themselves for not making that loan permanent. Kvaratskhelia has scored eight goals and assisted 13 in 53 appearances for Rubin Kazan and, still just 20 years old, has found himself linked with several clubs across Europe, most recently AC Milan.

Josef Martinez Shows Atlanta Fans What They've Been Missing

The 2021-22 MLS season has been a trying one thus far for Atlanta United and its supporters.

Atlanta, which took the league by storm in its first two seasons, smashing attendances records and earning a championship, has a record of 2-8-6 this year. Head coach Gabriel Heinze, hired in December, was let go earlier this month amidst an eight-game winless streak. The Argentine coach did not help his cause much by freezing out Atlanta's and, possibly, MLS's best player.

Only Thing Better Than This Bicycle Kick Goal Was The Emotional Tribute Immediately After

That was one helluva tribute for Zizinho.

Rayan Raveloson hit a spectacular overhead kick to open the scoring in the LA Galaxy’s 4-1 win over Portland on Friday, but even better than his goal was the team’s celebration of it. Raveloson and his teammates immediately ran to the bench to grab a jersey of a player who had never played a game for the club.

Mexico Avenges 2016 Defeat By Scoring Goal After Spectacular Goal To Crush South Korea 6-3

Mexico is one win away from its second Olympic medal in soccer after thrashing South Korea 6-3 on Saturday in Yokohama. A tight game burst into a rout after a stunning Luís Romo volley, and Sebastián Córdova put the game out of reach with a long-range golazo.

Mexico won gold in 2012 but failed to reach the knockout rounds in Brazil five years ago, heading home after a 1-0 defeat to South Korea in the final group-stage match. El Tri wasn’t about to bow out with another loss to South Korea.

Porto’s Gravity-Defying Mehdi Taremi Wins UEFA Goal Of The Season Award

Porto striker Mehdi Taremi clinched UEFA’s 2020-21 Goal of the Season award on Thursday for his outstanding bicycle kick against Chelsea in the Champions League.

The Iranian guided an unstoppable injury time effort into the top corner from 12 yards to clinch a 1-0 quarterfinal second leg win away to the eventual winners, but it was not enough to prevent a 2-1 aggregate defeat.

Croatian Player Scores Magnificent Goal From Border-Line Impossible Angle

Croatian forward Marko Livaja scored a brilliant goal on Sunday during a top-flight Croatian match. The goal was so good that fans are questioning if he really meant to shoot or if it was a cross that was so bad that it turned into a goal.

This Livaja goal vs. Osijek might not be a candidate for goal of the year, but it’s definitely worth a watch.

Ruidíaz Bomb From 50 Yards Out Is The Latest Contender For MLS Goal Of The Season

Raúl Ruidíaz scored one of the goals of his life against Austin FC on Thursday with an absolute missile from near midfield. Ruidíaz saw Austin’s goalkeeper off his line and made him pay for it with a sumptuous strike. This is one of the best MLS goals of the season.

Weston McKennie Snubbed From UEFA’s Goal Of The Season List By Goals Nowhere Near As Good

I have a bone to pick with you, UEFA. Not only did you block me from embedding your video with all the nominations for Goal of the Season, forcing me to find them on Twitter, but you didn’t include Weston McKennie’s scissor-kick goal at Camp Nou. I need to have a word with the committee.

19-Year-Old Rookie Sensation Trinity Rodman Scores Her Best Goal Yet

Trinity Rodman scored the best goal of her rookie season on Sunday, but it wasn’t enough as the Washington Spirit fell 3-2 to Gotham FC at Segra Field.

The Spirit looked doomed as early as the seventh-minute after Sam Staab was issued a straight red card for committing a foul as the last defender, but six minutes after her dismissal, Rodman shocked NJ/NY.

The 19-year-old used her pace to get on the end of a ball out wide, but with support arriving in the middle, Rodman elected to drift inside before unleashing a right-footed effort that flew inside the far post.
