Whose Outlandish Piece Of Control Was Better, Marcelo’s Or Pique’s?

Yes, Cristiano Ronaldo’s bicycle kick against Juventus was very nice. And of course, that title-clinching hat-trick that Lionel Messi registered against Deportivo was very nice as well. But does that mean, with regards to Sunday’s El Clasico, that we should only focus on the 10-time Ballon d’Or winners?

All Signs Point Toward Liverpool Battering Real Madrid In Kiev

Liverpool booked their ticket to the 2018 Champions League Final against Real Madrid on Wednesday with a 7-6 aggregate win over Roma. Now that the semifinals are over, all the attention now shifts to the final in Kiev, and rightly so. But have Liverpool already won the match before it’s even started? Here’s why that might be the case.

Seniors Find Ways To Stay Active With Walking Football

As we get older, the hustle and bustle of life can become overwhelming. Even the most simple of life’s pleasures, like having an engaging conversation with a friend or taking a long peaceful stroll outside, begin to become rarities. And as we get into our elder years, the bustling and noisy outside world can make our lives feel disjointed and isolated. In an effort to improve the quality of life for our seniors, a new form of soccer has emerged. Happy 43rd Birthday To David Beckham

Wishing the happiest of birthdays to the living legend David Beckham, former midfielder for Manchester United, Real Madrid, Preston North End, AC Milan, LA Galaxy, Paris Saint-Germain and, of course, the English national team. Badder than badass Beckham killed the game over his 20-year, god-like career.

Riley McGree's Scorpion Kick Goal Is Freakishly Amazing

Newcastle Jets midfielder and most Australian-sounding man in the world Riley McGree just scored an incredible scorpion kick goal. For those of you who have never seen a scorpion kick goal, it's the equivalent of an NBA player turning around at the 3-point line, moonwalking its perimeter and scoring a no-look basket while doing so.

Our feelings about this goal are summed up nicely by the eloquence of this Twitter user:

Goalkeeper Transforms Into Cristiano Ronaldo

Just about every goalkeeper dreams of scoring a goal. After trying to prevent a goal for 90 minutes, a keeper just wants the ball at the other end of the damn field. We’ve seen some crazy goals from goalkeepers throughout the years, whether it be from their own box or going up for a last minute corner and somehow scoring.

Why Didn’t Real Madrid Wear White Against Bayern?

Real Madrid did something you might have noticed in the first leg of its Champions League semifinal against Bayern Munich — Los Blancos wore their black kit instead of their traditional white kit. Despite the colors of white and Bayern Munich’s red not clashing, Real Madrid stepped onto the Allianz Arena turf decked out in its black away kit. But why did Madrid wear that kit despite no color clash?

Young Everton Fan Becomes First Virtual Mascot

Everton’s season has not been going as well as one would have hoped. Ronald Koeman struggled early in the season, and Sam Allardyce has not breathed much hope into the club either.

However, during their game against Newcastle United last weekend, Everton debuted the world’s first ever virtual match day mascot, and there was a heartwarming story behind it all.

Viral Instagram Soccer Account Highlights Disconnect Between Youth, U.S. Soccer

Danny Gildea set a goal. He had seen others have success with soccer training videos online and didn’t see any reason why he couldn’t do just as well, if not better. So he set a target of 30-40,000 followers and created @gps_soccerassassins on Instagram.

He now has more than 450,000 followers and has worked with some of the biggest soccer companies in the world, including Adidas. For comparison, USMNT captain Michael Bradley has 97.5K followers on Instagram, Jozy Altidore 207K and Landon Donovan 165K.

The Most Stacked World Cup Teams At Every Position

When putting together this list of the world’s most stacked teams at every position, two things really stood out to me: Spain is really good at football, and watching Argentina play (Messi not included) really should be a much more joyful exercise.
