Erik Palmer-Brown's latest loan move has been confirmed. The 24-year old will spend the 2021/22 campaign on loan with Troyes in Ligue 1. 

The USMNT center back has been shipped around the continent on loan since joining Manchester City's U23 side back in 2018, first joining Belgium's Kortrijk before spending a season in Holland with NAC Breda. He made 18 appearances for the Eredivisie side before moving on to Austria for the the 2019 season with FK Austria Vienna. The Violets liked what they saw in Palmer-Brown and brought him back for another season.

The Norwegian had a successful loan spell at the club last season, joining on loan from Real Madrid in January 2021 and making 14 appearances during the second half of the campaign.

LONDON - Leicester City will be seeking a center back after French defender Wesley Fofana broke his leg in a friendly against Europa League winners Villarreal, manager Brendan Rodgers said on Thursday.

Rodgers told reporters the injury, after a 'horrendous' challenge, was a major blow for the club only 10 days before the start of the Premier League season.

"He fractured his fibula and we are devastated for him," said Rodgers. "He's a top-class player so he's going to be a huge loss for us.”
