Diego Costa Admits To Being ‘Scared To Death’ During Wolves Announcement Video

Diego Costa's reputation as "The Beast" precedes him as he makes his return to the Premier League with Wolverhampton Wanderers but even the imposing striker admitted he was "scared to death" holding wolves on a leash in the club's announcement video.

The 33-year-old, a force to reckon with during his time with Chelsea where he was the club's top scorer every season and won two Premier League titles, signed a one-year deal with Wolves after the club lost their strikers to injuries.

Dog Who Pooped On Pitch Reunited With Owner After Going Viral

A good boy doing a bad deed had a good ending after a bad day.

A pooch who pooped on the pitch during a Chilean Primera B match was recently reunited with his owner, who saw the viral moment and recognized his beagle who had recently gone missing.

Saturday’s match between Universidad de Concepción and Fernández Vial was interrupted in the 20th minute by a misplaced mutt who found his way onto the field at Ester Roa Rebolledo Stadium. The dog, later identified as Toby, ran all around the pitch, showing off his breakaway speed as none of the players could corral him.

Gregg Berhalter Pays Tribute To Scott Van Pelt’s Dog With USMNT Jersey

Gregg Berhalter was invited on ESPN’s flagship SportsCenter show to talk about the U.S. men’s national team 200 days before the Americans open the World Cup in Qatar. The USMNT coach talked plenty of soccer and did his best to dumb it down for the average SportsCenter viewer. As the interview concluded, host Scott Van Pelt showed the USMNT jersey Berhalter had given him. It was far too small for the 6-6 anchor and not quite sized for any of his three children, either. It was for SVP’s beloved dog Otis.

Van Pelt was nearly brought to tears.

Police Dog Becomes Adorable Nuisance, Steals Ball During Final In Brazil

Retrô defeated Náutico 1-0 in the first leg of the Campeonato Pernambuco final on Thursday night. I won’t be showing you the goal from Guilherme Mendes da Silva in the 69th minute. Instead, I’ll be showing you a police dog invading the soccer pitch, because that’s the type of content we know you really care about.

The Only Thing That Makes USWNT Players Happier Than Winning Is Cuddling Dogs

The USWNT is the most dominant force in women’s soccer history. The U.S. has never been ranked lower than second in the world and has won more World Cups and Olympics than it’s lost. But if there’s one thing the players love more than winning, it’s dogs.

It’s National Pet Day, apparently, and I don’t know about you, but I can’t think of a better group of people to celebrate with than the USWNT.
