After all the commotion at Euro 2016, there have been concerns that Russian hooligans are going to attack British fans at the World Cup in 2018. Fortunately, that worry has been taken care of.

Meet AlanTim, a robot that, in addition to having two first names, can call the police on hooligans, use logic to reason with hooligans, anticipate conflics before they happen and even wear a bowtie.

To prove AlanTim's effectiveness, the Moscow Technical Institute made this video, in which AlanTim is shown interacting positively with a man who has tattoos.

Later this week, England will play Scotland in a World Cup qualifier/remake of Mel Gibson's hit movie Braveheart. As such, England trained with the Royal Marines in order to better prepare themselves for, uh, something. Siege engines probably.

With the 2016-17 Premier League season in the books, we now know what the league will look like next year. Relegated to the English Championship are Hull City, Middlesbrough and Sunderland. The three promoted sides include newcomers Brighton and Huddersfield and established EPL side Newcastle United.

Chelsea attacker Eden Hazard has had his summer cut short via an ankle injury. The 26-year-old reported Real Madrid target twisted his ankle during Belgium training on Sunday, and scans revealed his ankle is broken.

No timetable has been given by Chelsea or Belgium for his return, but the speculation seems to be centered around whether Hazard will be fit for the start of the season in August.

Former Ivory Coast and Newcastle United midfielder Cheick Tiote has passed away following a suspected heart attack while training with current club Beijing Enterprises. Tiote was only 30 years of age.

Sadly, it has been confirmed that Cheick Tiote has died in China at the age of 30. RIP.

Ending months of speculation that Arsene Wenger was on his way out at Arsenal, the Frenchman signed a two-year extension to manage the club through the 2018-2019 season, which was officially announced today. That will mark his 23rd season at the helm in North London, an impressive reign considering the turnover that has come to define his profession.

Following his meeting with Arsenal owner Stan Kroenke, it has been widely reported that Arsene Wenger has agreed to a two-year extension to his stay at the Emirates. And on the same day Thomas Tuchel leaves Borussia Dortmund! No club knows how to Arsenal quite like Arsenal.

Riyad Mahrez has handed in a transfer request. The Algerian winger intends to leave Leicester City, the club where he won the Premier League and the PFA Player of the Year award in 2015-16, for larger and greener pastures.

Mahrez released a statement Tuesday announcing his intention to depart:

“Out of the huge admiration and respect I hold for Leicester City Football Club, I wanted to be totally honest and transparent with them and have therefore informed the club that I feel now is the time for me to move on.

We love David Wagner. David Wagner is insane and fun and now he's in the Premier League. The German-American manager, whose best friend is Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, has led Huddersfield Town to the Premier League after winning a penalty shootout in the promotion playoff final against Reading.

Despite a negative goal differential in the regular season, Huddersfield Town wormed their way into the promotion playoff, then won shootouts against Sheffield Wednesday and Reading. 

Arsenal defeated Chelsea 2-1 in the 2017 FA Cup Final after Alexis Sanchez opened the scoring in the fourth minute with a truly awful goal, and Aaron Ramsey secured the victory after Diego Costa had equalized for 10-man Chelsea. Victor Moses was sent off in the 68th minute for a sad, not even remotely believable dive.
