Mario Balotelli may be short of friends in Liverpool's front office, but he isn't alone and miserable.

The out-of-favor striker, who Liverpool are actively shopping, has met some ducks to make up for the lack of human companionship in Liverpool.

Remember the last time you went to nature and everybody was like "don't feed the animals it's bad and dangerous?" Balotelli has decided to ignore those warnings in favor of inviting his feathered friends inside and offering them a bote to eat (note: the warnings are correct and you should not do this).

A bullish Jose Mourinho has been unveiled at Old Trafford as the latest manager of Manchester United, and he’s been quick to dismiss the work of the two managers before him. 

Henrikh Mkhitaryan should not be blamed for moving to Manchester United from Borussia Dortmund. He gets to play for a larger club, be more famous and reportedly triple his wages. That's a no-brainer for just about anybody.

His former club doesn't see it that way though.

Borussia Dortmund announced on their Facebook page that Mkhitaryan was leaving the club, and they couldn't resist throwing a little jab at the departing midfielder.

And here I thought today was going to be a slow news day. Zlatan Ibrahimovic announced Thursday his next destination will be Manchester United, where he will be reunited with his coach at Inter Milan, Jose Mourinho.

The move has been speculated for quite a while, basically since he announced he was leaving PSG, but Zlatan made it official Thursday on Instagram. Premier League center-backs are on notice.

Arsenal had a season to remember.

They finished runners-up in the 2015-16 Premier League, but fans were not shy in celebrating their traditional St Totteringham's Day as the Gunners managed to pass Tottenham in the final match of the season. 

Mesut Ozil is the best traditional #10 in the game today. He’s not a deep-lying playmaker, he’s not an inverted winger, he’s just exceptionally good at doing what #10s are supposed to do, create chances.

This video shows plenty of Mesut Ozil creating chances, but it also shows the other parts of his game that are just as exceptional, and perhaps more spectacular (the section on first touches is a football geeks dream).

At Euro 2012, the Republic of Ireland, under the direction of former manager Giovanni Trapattoni, seemed pleased to simply be there. Their performances on the pitch validated the belief that they were only making up the numbers required to field the tournament.
