EA Sports revealed a new FIFA 23 trailer on Friday that explained what is new in this edition of the game in terms of match-day experience. This will be the last time the video game series will be named ‘FIFA’, so EA Sports went all out with the realism.
EA Sports has just announced that Juventus will be returning to FIFA 23 following a three-year hiatus from the series.
The video game company released a video on social media in conjunction with Juventus celebrating the return of Italy's most successful club. The video features narration from Juventus legend Claudio Marchisio and scenes from both in-game and real life.
FIFA 23 news has been slow-moving after EA decided not to host its annual Play Live event in June, which traditionally served as our first look at the new technologies and features that'll grace this year's iteration. However, on Monday we got our first look at the FIFA 23 Ultimate Edition cover, featuring PSG's Kylian Mbappé and Chelsea's Sam Kerr.

For decades, the word “FIFA” more often than not referred to the video game franchise as opposed to the eponymous soccer governing body.
No more. FIFA and EA Sports are ending their nearly three-decade relationship, effective in 2023.
In short: The game will change its name to EA Sports FC (I know, yuck) but not much else. As for the why: As usual, it’s greed (from both parties).
When I was a child, I played a game called EverQuest, the first commercially successful 3D MMORPG and the only reason a game like World of Warcraft exists. EverQuest became so popular — and so time consuming — it was one of the first games in which players would pay for items or accounts using real-world dollars. But trading in-game assets for real-world money was a bannable offense in the game and scams were rife.
Russia's hopes of competing at the 2022 World Cup were effectively ended after the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) rejected a request from the Russian Football Union to freeze FIFA's suspension while their appeal is heard.
CAS said in a statement on Friday that the suspension of all Russian teams and clubs from FIFA's competitions would therefore remain in force.
The decision effectively prevents Russia from taking part in World Cup qualifying playoffs, scheduled later this month, as no CAS hearing has yet been fixed.
EA Sports is following FIFA and UEFA’s lead in supporting Ukraine while also punishing Russia. The governing soccer bodies announced bans on the Russian national team and clubs earlier in the week. EA Sports has announced its plans to remove the national team and clubs from FIFA 22.
