Milan Madman Maignan Makes Slide Tackle 20 Yards From His Goal Then Chops Ball Past Two Inter Players

Saturday’s Milan derby did anything but disappoint as AC Milan defeated Inter Milan 2-1 in an incredibly entertaining game. Olivier Giroud netted two late goals for the Rossoneri to stage a dramatic comeback. The biggest hero of the game might have been goalkeeper Mike Maignan who had several brilliant saves.

Maignan’s finest hour came in the first half when he momentarily halted an Inter counterattack with a slide tackle 20 yards out of his goal. With the ball at his feet Maignan then had the audacity to attempt to chop the ball past both attackers.

League One Side Plymouth Argyle Gave A Heroic Performance In FA Cup Heartbreak Loss To Chelsea

LONDON — Chelsea suffered an FA Cup fourth-round scare on Saturday when they had to come from behind and needed extra time and a penalty save to beat League One Plymouth Argyle 2-1 with goals from Spaniards Cesar Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso.

Plymouth shocked the Premier League side when defender Macaulay Gillesphey nodded the ball home from a free kick by former Chelsea player Jordan Houghton in the eighth minute, sparking wild celebration and a shower of green balloons from the travelling fans.

First Barcelona, Now Real Madrid — Athletic Club Slays LaLiga Giants To Reach Copa Del Rey Semifinals

Athletic Club has lost in the previous two Copa del Rey finals but the Basque club is absolutely determined to win the trophy for the first time since 1984. That determination has come in the form of knocking out Barcelona and Real Madrid in back-to-back rounds.

The hosts knocked Real Madrid out of the Copa del Rey Thursday with a dramatic last-minute goal.

The Thoughts And Notes Of A Spectator From 'The Coldest Game Ever'

The USMNT is one step away from qualifying for the World Cup after taking care of business on Wednesday night against an already eliminated Honduras side in "the coldest game ever."

I was on hand in Saint Paul to watch Kellyn Acosta again demonstrate why those who mocked his nomination for 2021 U.S. Soccer Male Player of the Year deserve to be ostracized from our country and to see Christian Pulisic exorcise that lecherous demon known as Thomas Tuchel.

Dudoso Penal A Diego Lainez Salvó A México De Una Catástrofe En El Azteca

México sobrevivió a Panamá gracias a un dudoso penal en contra de Diego Lainez y mantuvo intactas sus esperanzas de conseguir un boleto a Catar 2022.

Mexico Escapes Panama Scare Courtesy Of Diego Lainez Getting Lightly Tapped On His Leg

Mexico secured a tough three points at Estadio Azteca Wednesday night with a narrow 1-0 victory against Panama. The win was anything but confident from El Tri as a late penalty was the only thing to separate the two sides.

Panama looked comfortable inside the mostly empty Estadio Azteca — Mexico was serving its final game with limited attendance after punishments for homophobic chants — and had the better chances in the first half.

Héctor Herrera pulled off some goal line heroics in the 12th minute to deny Panama from taking the lead.

Tim Weah Had A Great Moment Of Sportsmanship vs. Honduras That Needs To Be Highlighted

The United States men’s national team picked up a vital three points in the frigid Minnesota cold vs. Honduras on Wednesday courtesy of goals from Weston McKennie, Walker Zimmerman and Christian Pulisic.

Tim Weah had several chances in front of goal but couldn’t find the net. His best moment of the game came in the 59th minute when he kicked the ball out of bounds.

Playing In Miserable Cold, It Was The Texans Who Led USMNT To Win

The U.S. men’s national team has never played a game like Wednesday night in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The temperature at Allianz Field was measured in single digits, the wind chill a dozen degrees below zero. Americans may be more accustomed to just frigid weather than Honduras, but it was the Texas boys who made the difference for the USMNT in a crucial 3-0 win in World Cup qualifying.

Control, Sombrerito A Una Rival Y ¡Boom!: El Gol Número 99 De Katty Martínez En Liga MX Femenil

Keylor Navas Y El Travesaño Dejan A México En Cero, En Otro Frustrante Partido De La Era Martino
