Philipp Lahm Has Announced He's Retiring At The End Of The Season
Philipp Lahm is retiring. That is a sad thing.
Throughout his career, Lahm has been two things: a winner, and criminally underrated. He captained Germany during their 2014 World Cup win and captained Bayern Munich to numerous Bundesliga titles, Champions League titles and domestic cup titles.
Thank you very much for all your messages. A day later, I’d like to explain my decision to you in detail: pic.twitter.com/Xz213rxM73
Bayern Munich Grind To A 1-0 Win Against Wolfsburg
Bayern Munich are like a B1G college football team. They grind teams down into dust and break wills. They keep the ball forever so when the opposing team gets it they don't know what to do with it.
Such was the case against Wolfsburg in the DFB Pokal Tuesday.

Can Anyone Dethrone Bayern Munich In Germany?
For years now, the top dog of the Bundesliga has been FC Bayern Munich. Apart from winning the Bundesliga championship 26 times on a consistent basis ever since the 1968-69 season, Bayern has been able to establish themselves as a powerhouse of Germany football.

Bayern Munich's Twitter Game Is Better Than Yours
Many clubs have official Twitter accounts and many of those official club Twitter accounts are bad. Not Bayern Munich's, though. Bayern Munich's official club Twitter account is good.
Just look at this. This is art.

Robert Lewandowski Scored The Kind Of Goal That Makes You Think He’s Cheating
The Bundesliga returned from its winter break on Friday, and Bayern Munich defeated Freiburg after Robert Lewandowski blatantly cheated to score in the 91st minute.
He trapped the ball with his chest, which wasn’t fair, juggled it, which was a clear foul, and rolled a shot in off the post, which should earn him a lifetime ban. Poor Freiburg, they didn’t deserve to lose, not like this.
How did he do that?
Xabi Alonso, One Of The Most Decorated Footballers Of All Time, Plans To Retire

Louis Van Gaal Has Retired From Coaching
Louis van Gaal, formerly the most entertaining manager in world football, has retired. We are sad now.
Van Gaal had everything we look for in a manager who doesn't manage the club we personally root for, which is to say: antics.
This article explains basically every reason van Gaal will be missed so much, but it predates both van Gaal's famous sideline flop against Arsenal and the time he said his players needed to be more horny.
