UEFA has turned down a request from the mayor of Munich for the city's stadium to be lit up in rainbow colors for Wednesday's Euro 2020 match between Germany and Hungary.

Munich mayor Dieter Reiter had said he wanted to light up the stadium in the colors in protest against a new law in Hungary that bans the dissemination of content in schools deemed to promote homosexuality and gender change and restricts the media from showing content with homosexuality in programming accessible to minors.

FIFA Finally Grows A Pair And Punishes Mexico For Homophobic Chants From Fans

FIFA finally stepped in (not like Concacaf was going to) and punished Mexico for the continuous homophobic chants from fans on Friday. On top of a $65,000 fine, Mexico will be forced to play its first two home games of World Cup qualifying without fans. Officially, the punishment is due to the chants heard during Olympic qualifying.

Megan Rapinoe has made headlines for two very different reasons. The famous clothing brand Victoria’s Secret announced on Wednesday the company plans to have the USWNT star, transgender model Valentina Sampaio, actress Priyanka Chopra Jones and other women fill the role of the “angels” typically seen from the brand.
