‘What A Clown!’: Fans Criticize Chicharito After Denying Photo And Autograph To A Kid

There is a day in life when all soccer fans discover that the game is not as pure and immaculate as they always thought but a gigantic castle of money, lies and big egos. That moment came this weekend too soon for a little boy in Dallas who just wanted a photo and autograph from his idol, Javier Hernández.

Nothing Sings Quite Like A Left-Footed Volley Off A Cross From The Right Wing

Central Córdoba swept past Rosario Central 3-0 on Monday night in a match that featured a candidate for the Argentine Primera División's goal of the season.

In the 23rd minute, 25-year-old winger Francisco González Metilli opened the scoring off a driven cross-field switch from Renzo López. Metilli let the ball run across his body before unleashing a left-footed volley from 18 yards out that flew across the face of goal and inside the far post.

The visual effect of Metilli's strike is basically just the Bundesliga logo — this is pure technique.

The deal to bring the 39-year-old to Liga MX was sealed last week and Alves was presented to fans last Saturday, but due to fitness concerns, the carioca was ruled out of Pumas' match against Pachuca on July 24 that resulted in a goalless draw.

River Plate, Dortmund, Nacional And Now MLS: Where Will Luis Suárez Go?

This summer's Luis Suárez transfer saga has been all over the place, and reports now place the Uruguayan in MLS.

After two seasons at Atlético Madrid, Suárez became a free agent July 1 and it was time to look for a new club. Many suggested that a move back to South America would be ideal for the striker after a 16-year career abroad. However, with Qatar around the corner, Suárez preferred to remain in Europe to prepare for his last World Cup.

“My priority is to stay in Europe,” he said.
