Carlos Salcedo Is Moving To Eintracht Frankfurt On Loan

Mexico international defender Carlos Salcedo, having wrapped up his loan at Fiorentina, is on the move to Eintracht Frankfurt on loan. Salcedo's rights are still owned by Chivas, where he played from 2015-2016.

Will Clint Dempsey Ever Break Landon Donovan's Scoring Record?

Clint Dempsey is one goal away from tying Landon Donovan's USMNT scoring record. He is two goals away from breaking that record. On current form, he is creaky and looking awfully like he will never get to do either of those things.

On Thursday against Trinidad & Tobago, Dempsey looked out of sync with the rest of the team. He looked, and I really hate to say this, like the game had passed him by. Dempsey's replacement, Bobby Wood, looked much more dangerous. On Saturday, Dempsey didn't play.

Geoff Cameron Can Do It On A Cold, Wet Wednesday In Stoke And A Hot, Steamy Sunday In Mexico City

Michael Bradley grabbed the headlines with his sensational strike against Mexico on Sunday, but for many, the United States Man of the Match was Geoff Cameron, the 31-year-old defender placed at the heart of the USA's three-man back line.

With Mexico controlling nearly 75 percent of possession in the match, completing 177 passes in the final third (as compared to 75 for the U.S.) and launching 25 crosses, you immediately get an idea of how important Cameron was in repelling Mexico’s frequent forays forward and completely disrupting their attacking rhythm.

U.S. And Mexico Share The Spoils After Frantic 1-1 Draw At The Azteca

The United States escaped the Azteca with a valuable point thanks to a sensational goal from Michael Bradley before Carlos Vela leveled for Mexico, the match ending in a 1-1 draw after 90 thrilling minutes in Mexico City. The result saw the U.S. climb to third in the Hexagonal table, and Mexico further solidified their spot at the top.

Carlos Vela Equalizes After Genius Level Movement From Chicharito

A lethal counterattack from Mexico started with a Guillermo Ochoa throw and ended with Carlos Vela cutting in from the right before firing a shot inside Brad Guzan’s near post. In between, there was a lot of understated brilliance from Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez.

Chicharito controlled Ochao’s throw inside Mexico’s own half and immediately drove at the American defense. With Kellyn Acosta looking to close him down, Chicharito delivered a devastating nutmeg before playing it wide to Vela.

Michael Bradley Puts U.S. Ahead With Best Goal Any American Has Ever Scored At Azteca

United States captain Michael Bradley put his side up at the Azteca with a world-class finish in the sixth minute. Bradley won possession in the midfield, created a little bit of space for himself, saw Guillermo Ochoa well off his line and sent a magnificent effort into the net from distance.

The American Outlaws Are Lit. Here's Proof

The USMNT ventured to Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Denver, Colorado for their fifth match in the hexagonal round of CONCACAF World Cup qualifying.

The American Outlaws were out in full force supporting the red, white and blue, and we luckily were on site to capture some of the best moments of the match. From smooching a significant other after a Christian Pulisic goal to a fan not wanting to give the steward the ball back, we saw it all.

Mexico Make Light Work Of Honduras Before CONCACAF’s Great Showdown

Mexico defeated Honduras 3-0 at the Azteca with a heavily rotated side, showcasing a squad depth that no nation in CONCACAF can come close to matching. Chivas defender Oswaldo Alanis gave Mexico the advantage from a corner, and El Tri continued to make easy work of a Honduran side whose World Cup dream is all but over.

Hirving “Chucky” Lozano scored the second in the 63rd and Raul Jimenez added the third in the 66th to quickly shift all focus to Sunday’s showdown.
