American Botafogo owner John Textor had an all-time TV rant on Wednesday after his side lost a dramatic game to Palmeiras in Brazil’s Série A 4-3.

Botafogo sit top of the table with 59 points and Palmeiras sit second-place hot on their heels. The top of the table matchup saw Textor’s side take a 3-0 lead after 36 minutes.

Soon-to-be Real Madrid star Endrick got one back for Palmeiras in the 49th minute, but it looked like Botafogo would hold on for a win.

Swiss club FC Basel award their goal of the month to… nobody because they didn’t score

Swiss club Basel's season has gone from bad to worse since it began in July, and with no goals scored in October, they were unable to announce a goal of the month winner on Tuesday.

With four defeats from four games in October, Basel conceded 10 goals and scored none, which led to the club posting a photo of a goal net and a caption which read "No goals in October = No goal of the month" on their social media accounts.

Brazilian phenom Marcos Leonardo scored a ridiculous goal for his club Santos on Friday that was SportsCenter Top 10 material. Unfortunately for him the goal was called back for offside.

With Santos leading Coritiba FC late in the second half, Leonardo put on a show as he smoothly controlled the ball with his chest, dinked it over an opponent and smashed it by the goalkeeper.

What a move from the 20-year-old.

ROTTERDAM, Netherlands, Oct 25 (Reuters) - Feyenoord beat visitors Lazio 3-1 on Wednesday thanks to a double from Mexico's Santiago Gimenez and a strike from Ramiz Zerrouki to move top of Champions League Group E.

The Dutch champions could have taken the lead in the 25th minute when Gimenez's effort was disallowed after a VAR review, but he had another shot five minutes later from Mats Wieffer's pass which flew into the top corner of Ivan Provedel's net.
