On Sunday, Real Madrid and Barcelona square off in the 177th league edition of El Clasico, the greatest rivalry match in all of sports. Real leads the all-time series with 72 La Liga victories as compared to Barca’s 70 (the two sides have shared the spoils an additional 34 times), and the club from the Spanish capital desperately needs another victory to reduce the currently escalating gap in league play.

Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp and Huddersfield manager David Wagner go way back, having played together at Mainz in the early 90s and coached together at Borussia Dortmund. Wagner was Klopp’s best man at his wedding (though he didn't do a great job at it).

Now as opposing coaches in the Premier League, they’re maintaining their friendship — to an extent.

Bayern Munich is in a rut right now, in seventh place in the Bundesliga and winless in almost a month.

This Antoine Griezmann baby gender reveal is perhaps the most fitting way for a footballer to find out the sex of his child.

Griezmann is married to Erika Choperena and the couple has a 2-year-old daughter. A second child appears to be on the way after this tweet on Saturday.
