We got our first look at a possible USWNT 2019 World Cup away jersey back in October, and then a possible leaked version of the home shirt appeared a few days back, but now Nike has officially unveiled the uniforms that the defending world champions will be wearing in France,   

The 2019 USWNT World Cup jersey has leaked over at Footy Headlines, and we think it’s simplistic perfection. Obviously the knee jerk reaction to jerseys these days is to say “WHAT? A WHITE JERSEY?? DID THEY REALLY PAY SOMEONE TO DESIGN THESE?!” and to garner the Facebook likes, as though putting Mia Hamm’s head on the body of a bald eagle soaring through a pattern of stars and stripes is the only way to go about designing a cool kit.

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the legendary adidas Predator cleats, the company is dropping a range of boots and apparel, including recreations of Zinedine Zidane’s ’98 Predator Accelerators and David Beckham’s ’01 Precision Predators. 

For the longest time, those that weren’t particularly enamored with the Abu Dhabi Royal Family Sky Blues steamrolling their way to three EPL titles in seven years had one piece of consolation: Since the club’s last First Division title hadn’t come since 1968 and since they’d spent so long in the shadow of neighbors Manchester United, City was viewed as a team without fans (at least when compared to United, Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea). 

I once wrote that MLS has the worst jerseys of any league in the world, and I’m not really willing to walk back on that statement.

Introducing the third signature Nike design for Brazil and PSG superstar Neymar, the Mercurial Vapor NJR Silencio. With Cristiano Ronaldo currently sporting Mercurial Superfly 6 Elite boots, these dandies make Neymar the only footballer on Nike’s current roster with an active signature boot series.

According to Footy Headlines, adidas is planning on celebrating the 25-year anniversary of the Predator cleat by releasing three limited-edition boots that give an updated look to the classics that became synonymous with David Beckham and Zinedine Zidane.

First up it’s the adidas Predator Accelerator ZZ — Icon 25 Year. This gold/white/red/navy cleat is, of course, the one favored by Zidane, and it’s looking pretty impressive in the update.

Last preseason, AIK (a Swedish club based in Stockholm) released a special edition kit that harkened back to the shirts the team wore between 1901 and 1909. The all-black look caused quite a stir, and the limited release “Black Pack” collection sold out instantly.
