Topical Winter Olympics joke: just like some of the figure skaters in South Korea, Manchester City just couldn't land the quadruple. Wigan Athletic, currently third in League 1 (England's third division), took down the mighty Citizens in the FA Cup for the third time in six years (!!!!!).

Was it a red card?
Hirving "Chucky" Lozano is having quite the first season in the Eredivisie. The 22-year-old Mexico international leads the Dutch league with 13 goals and is tied for seventh with seven assists. He also, curiously, is tied for first in red cards, with two. Also curiously, both of his red cards have come against the same club, Heerenveen. Maybe he doesn't like their uniforms.
Unfortunately for us footie fans, there is no soccer at the Winter Olympics; we’ll have to wait a while before eisfußball becomes an Olympic sport. But there was one professional soccer player, Håkon Lorentzen, who was fully in the spirit of the games on Monday and his reaction to his brother’s performance in PyeongChang was priceless.
One of the things I am most proud of as a soccer player is my first touch, which is as pure and soft as driven snow – not to mention as controlled as those terrifying door-opening dog robots that are eventually going to kill us all.
You, like me, probably think you have a pretty good first touch. Every footballer thinks they have a good first touch. It's like thinking you're a good driver. You think you're like the folks in the videos below.
Vinicius Jr., who will arrive at Real Madrid eventually, scored an incredible goal for Flamengo in a 3-1 win against Botafogo Saturday. Vinicius then celebrated by pretending to cry.
It turns out there is some history behind that celebration.
In 2008, some Botafogo players began crying in a press conference held to protest refereeing decisions. They have been mocked for that ever since.
