But first glance would be wrong in this case. It turns out neither fan base is the culprit here (we think).
It's not believed the brawl had anything to do with the Manchester City-Sevilla Champions League match, other than the fact Sevilla fans were there.

After Sevilla took an early lead, they then conceded an own goal to bring the score level but continued to control the ball over Manuel Pellegrini's side. But Yaya Toure, a man who said he was "disgusted" with the British media, put forth his best performance in this years Champions League campaign.
