The FIFA FIFPro World XI has just been announced, and as expected it is full of Real Madrid and Barcelona players.
Goalkeeper
Manuel Neuer (Bayern Munich)
Defenders
Thiago Silva (Paris Saint-Germain)
Marcelo (Real Madrid)
Sergio Ramos (Real Madrid)
Dani Alves (Barcelona)
Midfielders
Andres Iniesta (Barcelona)
Luka Modric (Real Madrid)
Paul Pogba (Juventus)
Forwards
Neymar (Barcelona)
Lionel Messi (Barcelona)
Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid)
The FIFA FIFPro World XI represents the best starting XI in the world as voted by the more than 65,000 players, male and female, that are a part of FIFPro: the worldwide representative organization for all professional footballers.
There is a surprising lack of Bayern Munich players in the World XI, as only goalkeeper Manuel Neuer makes an appearance.
Thiago Silva and Paul Pogba are the only other players besides Neuer to make the list who do not play for Real Madrid or Barcelona. Paul Pogba is one of the brightest talents in the world, and is currently lighting up Serie A for Juventus. Silva has long been considered the best center-back in the world, and plays for Paris Saint-Germain.
