The summer transfer window must be approaching because the Christian Pulisic transfer rumors are back. A week after Olivier Giroud said that AC Milan would love to have Pulisic, Napoli and Juventus are also showing interest.
Just about everyone is ready to see Pulisic leave Chelsea. In the 2022-23 season he’s only started eight Premier League games scoring one goal across all competitions. Interim manager Frank Lampard has either left Pulisic on the bench or not even included him in the squad for Chelsea’s previous four games.
American fans want to see the 24-year-old get more playing time and Chelsea supporters don’t want him at the club anymore. He has one year left on his contract with Chelsea, but it looks unlikely he would stay another season.

Napoli
Pulisic going to Napoli would be a very interesting and exciting move. The American would join the defending Serie A champions and be playing in the UEFA Champions League next season. A competition that he wouldn’t feature in if he were to stay with Chelsea.
The move could also see the unlikely pairing of Pulisic and Mexico star Hirving “Chucky” Lozano. What a weird Concacaf crossover that would be.
Lozano’s contract with Napoli ends June 2024 but he could also seek a transfer like Pulisic this summer.
One other reason the Pulisic to Napoli transfer rumor could work is that Chelsea are eyeing Victor Osimhen. The Blues could use Pulisic as part of the deal to get the Nigerian striker to London.
Juventus
American fans might be a bit more hesitant on Pulisic going to Juventus. Money scandals and punishments have marred Juve’s season with the club being docked 15 points in Serie A but then having that decision reversed.
The reversal decision on the 15-point deduction didn’t clear the club of wrongdoing, it only asked for another hearing with different judges. This means that Juventus could face punishments in the future. Do we really want Pulisic anywhere near that mess?
One positive that could come from a move to Juventus would be a possible link-up with fellow USMNT player Weston McKennie. The American midfielder is finishing out a horrid loan spell with Leeds United that looks likely to end in relegation. It’s unlikely Leeds would exercise the option to buy McKennie meaning he would return to Juventus barring another loan/transfer.
We shall see where Captain America ends up playing next season. Hopefully not Chelsea.
