A viral Ireland long throw video from the Republic of Ireland’s 2-0 defeat vs. England in women’s Euro qualifying on Tuesday has gone viral. Megan Campbell has done it again.
Ireland defender Campbell is one of the best long-throw specialists in the game and has been heaving throw-ins for years.
There seems to be a cycle where she goes viral for her long throws, people forget about it after a couple years pass and then she’s viral again after a new video surfaces.
Campbell’s latest rocket came on Tuesday when she threw the ball into England’s box from near midfield.

Incredible stuff from the former Manchester City and Liverpool player. The England players were familiar with Campbell’s talent and could be seen in the video defending her throw-in like it was a corner.
In an interview several years back, the former Florida State star explained the art of her throw-ins.
“Fortunately, my arms are quite hyper-mobile and can go further back than the average person,” Campbell said in an interview with Manchester City.
While Ireland were ultimately unable to secure any points against England, Campbell has another viral throw-in clip to add to her collection.
