I don’t think this keeper understands how red and yellow cards work.
In the Copa Peru, during a match between Union Perene and Pichanaki, Union goalkeeper Paulo Insua got a yellow card for…something. We actually have no idea what he did to get a yellow card. After some half-hearted Google searching, the most I could get, even from Peruvian websites, was that Insua was “warned.”
What he got disciplined for was rendered completely arbitrary when he decided that the best way to react was with a flying kick to the middle of the unaware referee’s back. As if that wasn’t classless enough, Insua proceeds to talk shit to the referee as he walks away and the ref lies in pain.
Insua was given a red card and kicked out of the match, as if I had to tell you that.
What on Earth could ever posses somebody to do something like this all over a yellow card? It’s like punching someone in the face for disagreeing with you, which, now that I mention it, probably happens a lot more often then I would like to think. Still, that’s no excuse, Insua needs to get his act together, and maybe one or ten anger management sessions. Just saying’.
