Watch last week's Hablaliga here.
Hi, I'm Giselle Cesin with The18, and this is Hablaliga.
Valencia had a good run. In the not-too-distant past, Simone Zaza, Rodrigo and company looked like Barcelona's biggest competitors for La Liga. Two brutal losses just before the Christmas break all but ended Valencia's hopes for challenging for the title, though.
They're still in a good position, of course, on pace to qualify for the Champions League, but the losses to Villarreal and Eibar will have Valencia fans wondering what might have been.
Time will tell if Valencia used the winter break wisely, but their form must be turned around somehow, especially with Real Madrid looking to move past them sooner rather than later.
