It's not exactly a secret that Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez has been having a great year for Bayer Leverkusen, but even we didn't realize he was having by far his best season ever.
He has 25 goals already this season, which is the most he has ever scored in his club career. He kept it going against Cologne this weekend:
HT: Koln 0, Bayer Leverkusen 2. Chicharito's 25th goal in all comps has the visitors comfortably ahead at the break. https://t.co/9FvObEFRFk

This follows his performance in matchday 28, when he played just 30 minutes but still scored and assisted and won Bundesliga Player of the Week.

He could be on his way to another Bundesliga Player of the Month award if he keeps this up throughout April, which would be his third such award of the season. If we were Chicharito, we'd never leave Germany after this.
Chicharito is the fourth-leading scorer in the Bundesliga with 16 goals, trailing only Thomas Muller, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Robert Lewandowski.
The crazy thing is this is Hernandez's best-ever season and there are still five games to be played: five more opportunities to score Chichagols.
