Robbie played his last game in a Republic of Ireland green jersey Wednesday in a friendly against Oman. In true Captain Keano style, he scored a banger.
Awesome! Robbie Keane scores what could be his last ever goal for Ireland.. https://t.co/fnVOKH5RoK

Old man still got it.
Keane finishes his career as Ireland's all-time leading scorer with 68 goals. The real tragedy here is he couldn't score another to get to 69.
He did, however, get a spine-tingling ovation.
What an ovation for Robbie Keane as he leaves the pitch for the final time in a green jersey! #ThanksRobbie https://t.co/sBVvc8hA3Y

At the time of his retirement, Keane was the active leader in international goals. The new active leader is Cristiano Ronaldo.
